Guardian has become one of the nation’s leading water treatment providers.
Guardian CSC was founded in 1988 by Bruce Ketrick as a subsidiary of Combustion Heat and Power, a boiler mechanical services provider headquartered in York, Pennsylvania. Early on, Guardian focused on water treatment products for the boiler and cooling tower market. Ketrick’s goal was never to be the biggest water treatment company, but to be the best—a goal he and his team accomplished by building and earning the trust of a wide range of customers.
In 1998, Guardian initiated a new approach to water treatment with an increased emphasis on engineering and consulting services and specialty chemical sales.
Today, Guardian provides total water management for its customers’ water treatment needs with management services that include:
- An extensive offering of water treatment equipment
- A comprehensive line of management and support services
- Complete installation, repair, and cleaning services
- Inhouse chemical production
- Specialty formulations
Guardian is the largest independently owned water treatment and service company in Pennsylvania, and one of the fastest-growing companies in the Northeast.
